Rob, welcome to the madness of do I need? Do I want? How much can I fit on a 
22 foot boat?  I would like to suggest Sailnet and Defender (both will send 
a free catalog if you inquire online).  There is more collusion than 
competitiion among these but each run specials from time to time.  I would 
also suggest an annual budget that you will spend each season.  This will 
force you to prioritize and will put off some purchases giving you a season 
to shop around, ask questions, and find a special.  Lastly, West Marine 
gives 10 % off first purchases with the opening of WM credit.  If a new 4 
stroke is on a liong list of purchases this season that is the time to do 
it.  Welcome to the madness.
