Robert,
If I'm understanding this, the drains in the aft end of the cockpit seats
(on either side of the lazarette) have no hoses on them?  In which case they
drain into the lazarette?  There should be a hose the fits on the barb on
the underside of drain that connects to a similar barb that goes through the
aft end of the boat just above the water line.  Mine appear to be sections
of an old garden hose attached to the barbs with hose clamps.
