Russ:
I know that Michael knows how to use a multimeter to check electrical
connections. Do you have a multimeter? To check if a battery is good, it
needs to be checked under load, but a multimeter can tell if it is charged.
There are special testers to check if a battery is good and will hold a
charge. Knowing you have a good battery to start is helpful. Have you
checked fluid levels?
The roominess sounds great.
>From your descriptions and boat evaluations, it sounds like you will enjoy.
Let me know when you are at Hilton Head, I might make a special trip down to
see it.

Shore power cord is stanard equipment with shore power option.
Investigating battery problem on #!, so much wire!! Working on a solution
to prevent "stuck keel", Remember, this is a new design so it does need
some prove-in to iron out the wrinkles.
Nick Hake has been square with us and we are sure he will continue to be so.
We do really like the boat, all the room, so cool in the heat at the dock.
Deisel performs flawlessly, starts almost instantly, only sips fuel.
Whikle waiting delivery of our boat we used Nick's Pursuit burnrd $57 in gas
in less than 4 hours - OUCH!!

Russ,
Glad that you are surviving the ordeal. Historically, shore power
cords do not come with boats. Did Glen and Doreen get one? Did Michael get
one? Make Mr. Hake bring you a battery or demand a cash refund.
If Stan was in on the design of the boat, I am sure he could solve
the sticking keel. But this is Mr. Hake's engineering problem. Especially
since he has three boats out there who talk to the whole country. I can
just imagine Michael spamming every sailor in the USA about the problem if
he does not get it right.:-) Maybe you should warn him not to piss off
Michael.
Do you want all of us on the list to email him about the problem?
Think that might get his attention? :-)

Wellllla _ our keel st5uck, batteries were dead but AC works, Grandma is
happy. We have no Genny yet, lost keel pin en route, raising mast took
chunk out of cabin top due to no tabernacle but still love the boat. Slept
on her last night great for 3 + 2 English Bulls. Stove does its work,
head &H2O heater also fine but we still hve some issues - Battery 1 is dead
and so far will not acept charge, Murphys Law?. Hake forgot to give us a
shore power cord, key for the deck plates for the H2O & waste but but, but.
Glen - need your BFH appoach for the GD keel, they should have a limit
switch or somwthing. Will is going to CT tomorrow (Fri) to help Michael rig
his - Hope & Pray all is well. Trip to Fl ( Stuart) 3000 miles boat was not
ready as anticipated, delay 3 1/2 days but got to use Nicks Pursuit 2460 in
Stuartr while we were cooloning our heels (Please remembersince it has been
a while, SDC (spelling don't count). Glad that Wyls & I went together to FL
since hw was able to do considewrable workk to outfie/commissiomn Bulldog in
Edenton. We diid have a nice visit with Stan & Rose while there so all was
not in vain. Used Stan's free guest house and slpetp very well= work up
aqfter 9!!!!!. His giuys, sans Didi, did a good job for uis installng,
painting, etc.
