I have just signed a contract on a brand new a Rhodes 22, and Stan
suggested I write this list because now I need a buyer for my former home,
a 1976 Wauquiez 43. She is a ketch rigged boat just right for crossing
oceans or living aboard, neither of which I will be doing for a few years,
and so if you or anyone you know is looking to move bigger, please contact
me at eric.charles.newburger at census.gov. She's in terrific shape, this
boat--repowered with a new 85 horse Perkins just two years ago, all new AGM
batteries, new paint on her topsides, refurbished teak decks with all new
caulking just this past winter, shiny brightwork, good sails, good rigging,
refrigeration, and for my asking price of $129,000, I will throw in a 4 man
life raft, 8 foot inflatable dingy with outboard motor both with only one
seasons service, a new autohelm 6000 under-the-deck autopilot ready for
installation, a second anchor (a 44 lb. bruce--primary anchor is 60 lb.
CQR), 100 ft of BBB chain, and a 600 foot coil of 3 strand twist nylon to
manage all your dock line and anchor rode needs.

Any takers?
