[Rhodes22-list] Centerboard removal for painting

Looking at the comments on centerboard painting, it seems clear that removal
from the inside is the preferred approach.  

For those that have done it, are there any tricks or techniques to removal
(and reinstallation) of the centerboard gasket and cover to minimize the
potential for leaks.  I live and store the boat an hour away from the ocean,
and it would be a real shame to find out after launching that I had screwed
up and needed to haul and drive home.
