Ed is being modest. He can answer every question - he just asks me off
line.

put a thru hull fitting on top of cb cap - run a hose from the hose barb on
that fitting in straight line up to door sill area and use for a push rod to
lower any mud stuck board.

Ashley,

Welcome. While this group cannot answer every question about a Rhodes 22,
it can answer most. In the last few years, some members of this list have
gone thru great effort to document some answers to questions about this
boat. Please take the time to look at these two sources and then go thru
the email archives.

I am not aware of the mud question other than most of us don't.

One important thing is that you have not told us where you are. This list
covers much of the US and you might have a list member near you.

mudquestion

Hi everyone.. I am new (obviously)

Considering purchasing a used 76' rhodes 22.

Any info about this boat appreciated (i.e. where can i get parts, molding,
window fairings, etc)

Most importantly what do you call the Centerboard arangement ? it is not
like my Rhodes

18 with a full centerboard, but it does not have a full keel either.. I have
been calling it a

"hybrid".

Can you let this boat sit in soft mud ? (I have access to a tidal area -
every day the water

completely leaves.. the mud is very soft.. does anyone have any experience
with this?

If it is not a good idea what is the min. water allowed ?

Regards,

Ashley
