The substance of the article was that the nuts 
on some of the spade anchors have come loose, 
especially if the anchor has been disassembled 
for storage.

The newer anchors (apparently) come with a hole 
in the pivot fitting for a cotter pin.

If you get one of these anchors -- and they are 
good, other than the problem noted above -- 
make sure that there is a way to lock the pivot 
nut in place -- or drill it yourself for 
pin or safety wire.  

Do not trust a nylock nut to hold.
