[Rhodes22-list] It is a slippery slope

I replaced my 30 year old main sail with a new (used) one from GBI.
Nice shape. BTW I have discovered that if I reef at about 15 knots, the boat drives harder to windward and goes faster.

Of course this makes the Genoa look mighty ratty. The UV stripe has formed itself into nice telltales.

Now for the replacement.

I could get another sail for Stan's furler. But then I have to drop the mast to change sails.

I like the idea that the CDI furler has it's own halyard, because I use my jib halyard for other wire luff sails.

I welcome comments.

BTW, money is no object.... no money, no objects....:)
