Jim,
Starting at the rear support bracket (for the toe rail) and moving foreward
8  7/8". One foot forward,max is 9". When you get to the aft lower shroud
chain plate it's back to 8  7/8". From there you lose to the curve of the
hull quickly. At the middle support it's 8  7/16".
 If you need anymore measurements, get back to me soon, CR  gets the tarp

PS: these are tight measurements,you might want to leave a little room for
sway of the pop top before it seats on closing.
You might want to know, from the front of the aft bracket to the aft of
lower shroud chain plate is 18.5" . To the middle support is 25.5"
