Jim:

In case Rummy will not own up to it, claiming that living on the warm water
of Lake Hartwell prevented it, there is a weather reporting station about 10
miles northeast of his house.

This station is also on Lake Hartwell.  See:

Check the low temperature for today.  Now realistically this only happened
for about an hour.  But it happened.
