[Rhodes22-list] The list is to quiet.

Brad,

It is an urban legend.  The room keys are encoded only with the room
identification and the necessary electronic "combo" to open the room. 
They the central access control system that connects all of this is
capable of recording all access attempts into a room.  Whether or not
they do or how long this is saved is up to the descretion of the
hotel.
