Hank:

Sit down and relax, there are many Rodies out here, some of whom
will reply to your questions.
First, your hot buttons did not work. What were you trying to show?
Second, by not going to the St. Pete show, you missed the
opportunity of a lifetime to meet Stan and Elton Spitzer.
Third, the floor is marine plywood, about 3/4 or greater.
Fourth, there are at least two others currently on this list
rebuilding Rhodes 22's unless my remarks have run them off. They are Lou
Rosenberg of Brooklyn, New York and Peter Thorn of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Fifth, you may see a lot of irrelevant post on this list. Just live
and let live. It keeps you from sending out posts asking if anybody is out
there. They are.
Seventh, there is already a lot of information about what you are
doing out there. Familiarize yourself with the FAQ web site and the
Rhodes22.org web site. Learn how to search the archives of the email list.
Michael Meltzer, your host, who operates this site out of his own pocket, is
trying to develop a search engine that will work. Recently, a fellow
Floridian figured out how to make the new Google search tool work. Check
out recent emails on this list for details. Keep in mind that the most
knowledgeable members of this list probably have answered the same questions
that you ask many times before. A demonstration of you having done your
homework helps elicit responses. Waiting and repeating the question helps
because many jump on and off the list depending on their time availability.
Eight, many past post have pictures that detail what the subject is
about. Some have saved many of these pictures. Bill Effros, a professional
writer, has saved many textual documents, so be nice to Bill.
Ninth, Todd is also a rebuilder who makes the world's best-detailed
illustrations. In addition, Roger, can reply in such detail that it may
take you a week to digest and fully appreciate his posts. Hopefully, you
have an engineering degree.
Tenth, you may want to familiar yourself with this site:
