Doug,

It stows under the cockpit seat. I wouldn't even try to stow and retrieve it
from the laz.

Thanks for the reply. You said that your Achilles 8' "stores under the
seat."  Do you mean the side cockpit seats or in the lazarette?  

Your 75 lb dinghy may be more than I can handle alone. I am considering a
smaller 6'7" dinghy and am hoping that it will store under the cockpit
seats.
