[Rhodes22-list] Autopilot favorites?.

Well.....I seem to have come up with a solution for my whisker pole a la 
Chris G., an old Boston Whaler (for the padeye), a couple of parts from 
Zimco Marine (our friendly commercial fishing supply house in Port Isabel) 
and some scrounged up parts here at the lab, and it actually works pretty 
well! I've only used it in light air, but will give it a hardcore test as 
soon as the winds abate a little (they're like 30mph+ gusting higher right 
now, 93 degrees too....a regular gen-aire effect, nobody's out).

My next project prior to ordering new sails (as soon as we get another rare 
bird survey contract or two) is to install a tiller autopilot. I don't 
recall any threads concerning favorites? Is there one model ya'll like more 
than the other? Reasons? Hope I'm not rehashing old territory, if so....sorry.
