Well spoken.

Go ahead and vote for Bush with my blessings, but not my "good luck".

That's what makes this country.  I trust you will also fight here at home to 
keep it that way as they try to eat away at the freedoms that made us work 
in the first place.

Thanks for clearing up the real distinction:  From the right you are willing 
to give up you life (not an American stand-in's life) for this particular 
cause.  From the left, giving up American lives is self defeating, 
paralleling the terrorists goal.

Better than your suggestion on getting into politics, I think I should join 
Bush's born again religion and help them understand what it really stands 
for:  Making this country into a garden of Eden for all its inhabitants so 
the rest of the world will willingly want to emulate us, not kill us.   You 
may not be aware of it but right now they are focused on our warts - and we 
have many of them.  And they don't want to be like us - and they don't want 
us to force them into our image.  They will only misunderstand and think 
things like we want their oil, or virgins - or to get our torturing kicks.

If you don't follow the old time religion (I do not understand the new time 
religion currently being advocated at all) of setting a good example with 
all that money, instead of our leaders' solution of burning it (40 million 
uninsured doesn't hack it) then you are going to be proven correct and we 
will all have to join the service again as those going back for a third tour 
begin realizing they are being taken advantage of by the crowd who is 
willing for someone else to die for scoring against old Iraq U.

What is your advice for the Russians?  Or Israelis?  Should they also go out 
there and end their terrorism with all out invasions - or do we have 
different rules for different countries.

Most of the world thinks we are nuts.  It would have been cheaper to have 
bought Vietnam out right for US dollars and US bonds then to pay the much 
greater price we paid, in your money and mine and the lives of our friends, 
for that losing cause.

Oh well, we have something in common.  That's a great boat you are sailing.
