Doug:
You cannot allow over painting a name without the proper procedure
and ceremonies. The old name's spirit will forever be in conflict with the
new. You will have to get Stan to put the old name back on and conduct the
proper ceremony. Can you imagine two contrary spirits on the same boat.
What will the results be? Maybe that is what is causing the hurricanes....

Slim,
Red Rover is the new name. Currently the hull has no name on
it. The old name disappeared when Stan's workers put the
beautiful new red paint job on the hull during the refurbishing.
I shall have a formal renaming ceremony when we put the new name
on the hull. Scared of a curse? Of course not (crossing my
fingers) - of course we may sail backwards for three boat
lengths - just to test the dynamics of course <grin>.
Fair winds!

Doug,
A while back, you were talking about renaming your boat. Have
you changed your mind? You're not scared of a silly old curse
are you? 8-)
