Thanks for patiently answering my question on the falling CB.  Now the question that is keeping my wife from agreeing to buy the Rhodes:

Where can we sleep without reorganizing the cabin?

I'm 6'3 (295 lbs) and my wife is 5'2" 125 lbs.

We read with great interest Mary Lou's writing about Fretless in "Sailing Small".  In that writing, she mentioned that the dinette becomes a "Small Double Bed".  She stated that both her and her husband were small persons, so that was probably not an issue.  

Not so with us.  Also, my wife hates the idea of sitting up the bed and taking down the dinette when we lay down.  On our Columbia C-22, we slept very comfortably in the V-birth.  I always got up first (being a morning person) and would sit at the table and sip coffee while talking to my wife who preferred to lay in bed and talk until she was awake enough to get up.

On the Rhodes, can the V-birth be extended enough to allow 2 normal sized people (like us) to sleep, so the dinette can be saved for morning wake up time?

This seems like a small and silly matter, but to my wife and I, who really enjoy over-nighting on a boat, it is of vital importance.
