[Rhodes22-list] Who is this Stan?

Sean,
I paid about twice that for my 1976 R22. The previous owner had redone the
interior, bought a bigger boat, and had to move the one I bought. $4K for a
older R22 (with trailer) is about the best I've seen. Of course, you do not
get the bells and whistles of a newer boat. But I did get a basic boat,
that gets me on the water, is fun to sail, and you can trailer it around.

usually is a reason. I"m looking to spend around $2,000. If that's out of
the question for a Rhodes then I'll have to look for something else. I'm
still not 100% on a Rhodes, but so far it has had the best press and offers
everything I want.
