Mary Lou,

They've already started dropping the lake level - it's due to be down 5' by
Friday. Raven's tied to a floating dock in 26' of water, so no worries
there.

We've been on the Tayana for the last two weeks and are heading back to
Blacksburg this afternoon - just in time for the rain. We're scheduled to
attend a VT football game on Saturday and host a barbecue after the game.
We're bringing our foul weather gear back with us and I may have to break
out Raven's inflatable tender <g>.

Now if only Jeanne heads out to sea......

Mark

Wow Mark, it looks like there was no good place to be. the forecasters had
such difficulty with this one. I heard some charter boat companies actually
moved their boats to Grenada expecting them to be safe there.

My thoughts go out to everyone on the Gulf this a.m. and inland over the
next few days. The current forecast has the remnants of Ivan stalling over
SW VA after dropping a lot of rain on GA, TN and NC. What happens to Raven's
lake in a flooding situation? Best wishes to all in the path.

Mary Lou
