Carol,

I wrote a book entitled "How to Sell Your Home in 5-Days" available in most libraries. I am currently working on the Third edition which will include information on how to use the same technique to sell boats, cars, and other large ticket items.  I always use the method, and have sold many boats this way.  You can't sell a boat in 5 days, it takes more like a month to get the absolute top dollar for any boat.

I have a friend whose initials are SS to whom I traded in a boat which I told him I would sell for him using this method.  Within a month I had a buyer willing to give him the amount his brother offered me as a trade in on the boat. He thought he could do better.  5 years later he finally sold the boat for the exact same amount I got for him in a month.

My book is generally available through Amazon, but they have run out, and my publisher is reprinting as we speak.  But if you go to Amazon you can see many pages of the book, and get the idea.  There are also numerous web sites that explain the idea.

If your friend takes a look and is interested in the technique, have him or her join this list and ask any questions, or you can ask the questions on the list.  This is just about the only list I am monitoring these days.  It's the next best thing to sailing.
