[Rhodes22-list] Political/warin Iraq.

Brad,
You seem to have joined Steve in the fast typing-slow thinking school of political discourse.
Are those high altitudes finally getting to you?
We were not talking about the relative merits of the F102. If someone who is politically connected wangles a million dollars worth of fighter pilot training in the middle of a war and has stated he does not want to fight in that war, I would think it prudent to train him on the plane least likely to be sent into battle. Isn't that your position on this tit sucking thing? (Should that be teat?)
And why confuse Steve by bringing up the Vietnamese in Paris? What does that have to do with anything? That was our peace conference. We put it together. All sides attended. Kerry was asked to report on it to our Senate--and did so. Bush can't even remember where he was in 1972.
And nobody is knocking the Guard. What's that about? We all understand why those guys might think that's a "very dangerous tit to suck on..." and why they might "ask for some time off..."
What we're all trying to get a handle on here, and I know I'm not alone in this, is why you think you can say one thing one week and the opposite thing the next and think nobody is going to call you on it.
Maybe it's because you got away with it 4 years ago, but I doubt you'll get away with it again.
Bill

Bill,
If you know anything about the F102 you would know
that is a very dangerous tit to suck on. William
Jefferson Clinton put to rest the whole "serving in
Vietnam" issue twelve years ago but we're discussing
it again because Kerry wants us to make a judgement
based on his three months of combat (four in country).
Judging by your posts and opinions, I think you should
vote for John Kerry, but please, don't knock the Guard
if you don't know these folks.
In 1972 when Bush did/didn't meet his Guard
obligations, Kerry was in Paris meeting with the
Vietnamese.
I see little hope of us agreeing on this, lets move on
Bill. How about WMD?
