Stan,
Now just for the record, how much for a new IMF mast, rigging and
sails for that boat? Just so everybody knows how much the price to upgrade
to the IMF has gone up and why you are choosing not to recycle. It must be
presumed to need a new mast since all the used IMF ones that you have are
assigned to other boats. I know of comments made that you have stacks of
used masts available on your barrel systems of storage. What is the lead
time on getting a new mast, again just for the record.

Gee Stan at that price I'm suprised you don't buy it from yourself! To the
lurkers, it is a good deal! I know, I'm cheap! (now calm down I'm cheap
not easy.) Good luck future Rhodie where ever you are.

To any cheap Lurkers:
We just got in an 85 standard mast project boat that we do not have the
time or patience to recycle. $7,500 with trailer and motor to the first
$1,000 refundable depositor who does not think the big cost of recycling is
worth
it.

Dear cheryl,
Keep this in mind when trying to decide on the more
"Spendie" Rhodes. 7 years ago you spent $5,000 on some thing/s and you
haven't a clue what they were. 7 years from now when you think back about
your first summer on the Rhodes (the 5 grand should take care of the spread
between a nice sailboat and the Rhodes) you will remember that summer in
wonderful detail. Go ahead and take the plunge, you won't regret it! I was
given this advice and 30 years and 2 Rhodes later I remember every summer
with (and for a while without) my Rhodes!
