Welcome Back Puentes,
I'll let the techno guys with the
pictures explain the rigging but just wanted to say how intriguing the
concepts of a "Rip-van-Rhodes" is. Do tell us more. Also where are you
located? There must be a Rhodie near by!

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Question about rigging

> Dear Rhodes Community: We bought our Rhodes new in 1991, used it once and
moved out of the country (China and Japan). The boat was wrapped and stored
in a marina. We just came back and unwrapped it, rigged it and relaunched it
(actually our first launch, as when we just got it, was delivered), so we
never had the opportunity to put it together until now. It took us a few
hours to figure out how all went together, but finally did it. Except for
one problem: we cannot figure out how does the main sail gets rigged. We
have a self furling innermast sail. The boom is in place and held by the
boom vang (I hope I am using the right terminology). Then there is a 3/8
line attached to a block at the end of the boom with 2 additional blocks.
How is the sail rigged to the boom?
