Slim, it was designed to not have the slots for the stays. The lower aft
shrouds, that would indeed have interfered with the assembly and the
topping lift, were meant to be disconnected (with fastpins on these two
particular shrouds) and they were meant to be left unattached while the
Boom Room is up and the topping left was meant to be attached to the cleat
on the side of the mast. That will be $1.98 royalty.
