I did this about 4 years ago. Plexiglass is too fragile. Use UHMWP.
I sealed around the holes with 3M4200, but I don't think it is critical.

I think it's time to rebuild the tracks the lift slides up and down in, as
the tracks are cracking and pieces of track are missing in places.
Any idea what kind of plastic to use? UHMWPE? It looks like the last
rebuild was 3/8" Plexiglas.I'd like to replace it with something a little
more high tech.
My Rhodes is an '86.
While I'm begging advice, what kind of sealer should I use for the bolt
holes?
