One of the great deals going is Map Tech Off Shore Navigator Lite.

I'm going to run right out and get the latest Chartbook for Southern 
Florida including the Keys.

For between $50 and $100 (approximately--depending on region) you get 
the paper charts as before, and they throw in a cd rom with the charts 
in electronic form and a dumbed down version of their navigation 
software.  Now, the dumbed down version is a thousand times more 
sophisticated than anything we'll ever need, and it really lets you get 
a good look at the information on the charts. Especially so if you have 
old eyes.

The electronic version on a laptop with GPS plugged in will put your 
boat on the chart in real time.
