Bill,
I will keep you posted.
One of my ideas was to sail down to Key West by myself, stopping at
motels with Marinas where my wife could meet me, and we could sail the
local waters together. She could pull the trailer with my truck. Spend
a week in Key West, and then pull the boat in Key West and Drive back
together.
The alternate idea was for me to do the driving in both directions with
the boat in tow, launching in local water and staying at various Keys in
both directions. There are boat ramps all over the place in the
Keys--many motels have them. Rent for a few nights. Leave your trailer
and car in their lot. Cruise around for a while. Come back to the motel.
Not this trip, though. Let me cruise Biscayne Bay. Take it low and
slow. Let everyone relax and have a good time before I get too tricky
for my own good.
