[Rhodes22-list] Boater envy...

Attached is an article by Stephen Reverand that I thought you'd all 
enjoy having to do with boater envy. I have to admit I succumbed 
earlier this year. Here is how my wife described in our annual 
Christmas letter...

...Gregg sadly parted with his first sailboat, but acquired two (yes, 
two) new ones. In the very early spring "True Blue", a  22 foot 
Rhodes sailboat entered our lives and became our entertainment of 
choice from May through October. At five feet longer than "Just 17", 
the new boat is very comfortable and more enjoyable. And, now that 
Gregg's had about four years of experience, Linda is more confident 
in his sailing abilities. That does not mean, however, that she is 
ready for his desired Great Lakes or coastal sailing....

Oh, yes...the second boat. It arrived late in the summer, a smaller 
Rhodes Bantam day sailor. "Why do you need another boat?" "Because 
it's a classic! It's all wood, and I can refinish it, and there 
aren't many of these around any more." "heavy sigh..."
