[Rhodes22-list] Florida Syndicate

Guys,

Stop arguing about a place to keek the boat. Like I said before, Bradenton (Florida) is the best place.

I can keep the boat ready on the trailer whenever anybody needs it, and there will not be storage fees. The syndicate will cover the costs of maintenance and insurance.

If you don't want to come to Bradenton for the boat, I'll be willing to deliver the boat anywhere in Florida for a fee.

All I'm interested is using the boat whenever is sitting iddle or have a minimum of 4 shares.

  Luis

Bill,
I don't know if I would be a syndicated owner, but would certainly pay for
a week next summer, and perhaps the summer after that, and the summer after
that, and the summer after that....

Bill,

Right now, I'm in for $500 just to get the project off the ground.
There is another $500 committed back-channel for the same purpose.
Let's say the value of Slim's "maybe" is $250. If we could put a boat
in place by May (there is no way it could be this boat, but since I'm
taking my boat down by February, I could leave it there for you and
figure out how I'll get it back to Greenwich after you're done with
it...) If we could put a boat in place by May, would you commit to a
rental? For how long? What dates?

Nothing set in stone, here. We would only be 1/2 way to covering the
first year. Capital will be required to get Brad's boat up to snuff,
and we won't have any idea how much capital is required until we take a
good look at the boat, so it might not work out after all.

But the question of the day is whether there are people right now who
would commit to renting the boat, so we can figure out if it pays to
figure out any of the next steps. Would you commit now?
