Roger,

Rudeness is too common these days. How does that latin translation go?
"Don't let the bastards grind you down.."

Some lucky manager is going to strike gold on you. Keep paddling.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] The 2nd Shoe Has Dropped

Hi Everybody,

MRI in Kansas City, MO has informed me that I didn't get the Aerosol
Engineering Section Manager position. MRI did not call or write a letter of
rejection themselves. Instead, probably as a result of some e-mails and
telephone messages I'd left with my contacts at MRI after a month of
silence, they sent the message via the original recruiter who put me in
contact with MRI last December. The recruiter left me a telephone message
today, which I listened to after a day of substitute teaching. The message
was short, completely generic, and gave no details regarding why I was not
selected.

It seems if I hadn't kept pestering MRI, they weren't even going to let me
know one way or the other what had happened. Boy, the rules of the game
have certainly gotten rude and crude since the 1st time I graduated college
back in 1976.

Oh well, back to square one on job searching.

Sigh, I hope everyone had a better day than I did. :-(

Roger Pihlaja
