[Rhodes22-list] Topping lift

Our 1976 Rhodes doesn't have a topping lift and I'd like to add one this season.  Any suggestions?  There is an attachment point on the boom, but no line.  Is this a fixed length line or adjustable?

Picture 0090 from http://members8.clubphoto.com/kimberly513138/687351/guest.phtml shows the boom connection, but how about the mast connection?  Same thing?  Suggestions on line diameter?
