[Rhodes22-list] Mast raising follies: Response to Rummy

Rummy responded to my mast raising folly story with a very good question:
 
Question??????? Do you have the standard mast or the IMF. It does make a  
difference. I have a technique where two people can raise the IMF without the  
benefit of the hoist. It does require the purchase of a six pack of cold beer  
however.

Orion has IMF.  Since Orion was former list member Marc Beroz's boat, I have contemplated trying his 2x4 cradle illustrated in the Rhodes22.org picture gallery:

It looks like the come-along is attached to the top of the cradle and the topping lift is attached to the front of the cradle.  I assume that  as the mast comes up the cradle lies down to the rear.  I also assume that you would need to block the legs of the cradle so that cradle would not shoot forward toward the bow and the cradle lies down.
 
By-the-way, I am ordering Stan's mast hoisting system.
