I have a Porta Potti in my '87 Rhodes and find it works quite well and is odor free for the most part.  I don't know how you would hook it into your holding tank.  You could pick it up and dump it in if you have access to the tank.  I simply carry mine ashore and dump it into the nearest toilet.
