[Rhodes22-list] Anyone else tired of this political debate?

I don't usually respond to the political comments but there are some I just
can't, in good conscience, let go.  Since I don't yet have a boat (I have to
find a place to stow it since the Socialist Association I live in will not
let us stow it on our property or along the road) I only have limited input
to the boat  topics, though now and then a question comes to mind.  However;
I do enjoy reading the exchanges.

I recently joined this listserve because I have an older Rhodes 22 and
wanted to exchange information with those who have experience with the boat.
For the first few days that is what happened and I got some very useful
information.

For the last week however, it seems like a never ending torrent of political
babble that so far as I can tell has nothing to to with Rhodes 22 sailboats.
There are endless chat rooms and blogs out there where one can - and should
- engaged in political debate. So can I suggest that those who want to
persist in the debate choose another venue and leave this listserve for talk
about Rhodes 22? That only seems fair and reasonable to me.

Otherwise, I am out of here. Am I the only one who feels this way?
