Thank you, Ed, for the Blue Ridge parkway pictures.

Barbara and I took a motorcycle trip from Wash DC to Atlanta 
via the BR Parkway as a precursor to our thoroughly successful
marriage.  She proved that she could live on 20 lbs of clothes 
in one saddlebag, and had an iron butt and good humor -- an
admirable traveling companion both then and now.

And she came with a cellar full of booze (including Anejo rum).

The Parkway is a beautiful work, a place that serves well as 
a foundation for memories.
