Michael,

I am intrigued by your proposal. I am very interested in the collection and
dissemination of valuable knowledge about this wonderful activity that I
have been dreaming of for years and been actively involved in for the last
few years. I enjoy sailing, writing and think this may be an opportunity to
combine both activities.

I am not certain what role I can play in this project. I have some web
development experience, have been an event coordinator for a large mountain
bike race and I manage a group of 20 people where I have an opportunity to
practice the "gentle art of user correction", sometimes successfully,
sometime not so successfully. I certainly feel I could help as a content
editor and perhaps can share responsibilities with others as a project
leader.

If you think I may have some skills that would be of value, perhaps we can
have a conversation off line.
