[Rhodes22-list] looking for suggestions for my new Rhodes 22

Dan, it really depends on where you plan to sail.  If you are going to do 
some coastal navigation and depth meter and compass are recommended.  I have 
hand held compass, anemometer, knotmeter (GPS).  I have a fish finder that I 
installed for depth and fish info but I do no navigation.  I installed a 
good compass in a wash board which slides in the companionway but I have 
never spun it.  Handhelds have a lot of appeal as far as ease, reliabiltiy, 
and replaceabliity.  I did have Stan install a VHF antenna at the mast head 
(it is a pain in the ass to run the coax down the mast)  Remember KISS - 
especailly on a small boat.  Bob Weber
