I must defer to your judgement, since you apparently have spoken to just about everyone in the country. I can only speak about my experiences though, and the folks I spoke with did not say the same. Many of those folks are in New Orleans as I type this. There is little doubt that things could have been handled differently, but then, that's been the case with most disasters (go back and read about similar criticisms of other disasters). Like I said earlier, I've really grown tired of this particular discussion. You and yours have your experiences, I have mine. We'll just agree to disagree.

Just about everyone in this country thinks our government, that includes  
local, state and national, has really let the people of NO down on this  one.
