Herb,
Thanks for your first hand perspective. I have about as much trust in the
press as I do some of our elected officials. Your set of ears and eyes can
only process so much. Sometimes when we are too close to things we overlook
the big picture.
When we rely on the media for truth we only get their distorted view. My
take is there is plenty of blame and praise to go around. You deserve some
of the praise.
Some how our country needs to figure out what lessons we are going to learn
from this. Hopefully all local governments are carefully looking at their
own disaster plans.
