       I cannot believe that you will not let your daughter paint the boat
pink.  Consider the safety factor in a boat you see and identify for miles. 
And any other color will not be her color of choice so she will have less
ownership interest in the boat.  You need to tell her you realize the error
of your domination and go out and buy a gallon of irredescent pink that
