[Rhodes22-list] Rudders-loss overboard

In the same way Stan has recommended a retaining line for the outboard,
wouldn't it be prudent to always have the rudder/tiller assembly somehow
fastened to something on the hull ( like a railing support ) ?
Granted there would be slightly more clutter in the stern area, but that
"sinking feeling" might be avoided if something very unlikely happened to
the pintles in the gudgeons.
