barb,
  you should have gotten a whole lot of responses on the rudder shape by now. do you have the top part and tiller? my friend has an 84. i could photo and give you some dimensions if that would help.  in the interest of sailing now, rather than next season, i would cut out a pleasing shape from 3/4 marine plywood hang it and go. where are you located? john b

The centerboard arrangement changed between 1975 & 1976. Older hulls did
not have the centerboard cover which allowed access to the c/b from the
cabin. These older c/b's were dropped out from below. Some boats had
access to the pivot pins from the side of the keelson, and on some boats
the pin was glassed in and hidden.
