Well, I'm a little confused and not sure how to respond. I DO crew on one of the boats on Wed. night, but I don't think that's the answer you're looking for. I suspect your answers center around my boat on Lake Pontchartrain.

I live in North Texas, and most of my sailing is done on the O'Day 25 up here. I go Louisiana about every 6-8 weeks, but it's almost never on Wednesdays. But then, the "wondering what you were up to these days" kinda throws me too, since I've been posting here pretty regularly.

Possibly you meant for this to be for Ben, who owns Velvet Elvis, the Rhodes 22?

At any rate, I'll answer what I know, just in case it's simply me that's confused.

Last I saw of Oak Harbor, it was still looking pretty sad. Most of the trash was cleared out, and one of the docks had some construction, but they were a long way from being finished. We're running behind on our regular visit, since I took vacation time to do a gulf crossing on a friend's boat. Haven't been there since late June, but we're heading that way this weekend.

I have heard though, that what was 9 dock (now 8 dock, they're only going to rebuild 8 of them) is complete, and the new 7 dock is almost complete. We're probably going to move our boat there in 3-4 weeks, and just pay the higher price for the larger slips until they rebuild the new 5 dock for the 35' boats.

They (Oak Harbor) still have the same harbormaster they had before the storm - Mark White. He's the same crusty guy he was before too. I don't envy what the guy has had to go through for the last year.

It's possible that you're talking about the trash cleaning in the canals at Eden Isles, and I have heard that there's been some of that recently. However, I don't think Eden Isles has their own harbormaster.
