Eddie Jones is a local writer and sailor in Oriental, NC. The storey I
heard is he took a severance package from an RTP company (perhaps IBM) and
bought a sailboat, then started writing a column about sailing for a
newspaper. Recently Claiborne Young added him to his team. This is his most
