Brad,
I haven't seen any of the handhelds that will take the Navionics chip for
inland lakes, like Champlain. Because this will be a key destination I've
leaned toward those manufacturers who do support it. Practical Sailor just
did a field test on the various electronic map suppliers and Navionics was a
big winner on most counts.
p.s. I have Sirius satellite radio in all our vehicles. It's kind of like
"try it, you'll like it". Once you have it you'll not waste a minute
listening to regular radio with all the commercial junk. I have no interest
in Howard Stern. By the way, he is exclusive to Sirius (only cost them 500
million). Can't get him on XM.
