Hank,

When the French were demonstrating the first Airbus it
wasn't particularly impressive when the Chief Pilot
flew the airplane into the trees of the end of the
runway at the Paris show because "the jet is smarter
than the pilot". I like my old bird, everything is
connected by cable to something, but alas, it has
about three years max left on the property. We now
have some new technology coming (already installed on
the MD11) called RASS (don't ask me what it means)
that is a GPS based voice box that announces your
position on the ground. It quickly won the name
"Bitchin' Betty" because it is so distracting.
Progress, right?

Off to the Gulf, see ya!

Brad
