Wally,
My PTE is black and Stan thought it would be too hot but that isn't the
case since we use it primarily after dark. But
the nights are cooler in MN than TN. We have opening ports on the front of
the cabin and that's enough ventilation.
And if it's not too buggy we leave the front window flaps open.
Nobody regrets getting the PTE--you'll love it!
Slim

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] PTE Question
I am considering purchase of used PTE from a fellow list member. The PTE is
in great shape but I am curious if any wish the PTE had more screens. I
didn't realize the front windows contained no screens and more than half
the
sides do not have screens.
In the winter I would not need screens but I only day sail in the winter.
The lack of screens during fall or spring may be a non issue. In the summer
I am concerned the PTE will allow enough ventalation. We sleep out often
with pop top up and just a rain fly over the top. We leave companionway and
pop top wide open and use 2 fans.
I don't read complaints about lack of screens. So how about it PTE
owners.... Are my concerns about ventalation justified?
Wally
