Nah, I didn't perceive it as an attack, just that I may have missed something somewhere. After I sent that email, it occurred to me that Brad was the seller, and that he was simply saying "Money is what really talks. While you guys were 'discussing' things, someone showed up with da green". It was a "Oh yea, now I see" thing, but AFTER the email was sent.

Herb,

Brad is not attacking you.  You and I never reached the "send in your 
checks" stage.  You made clear you would send if asked.

Brad is talking about himself and me. 

When push came to shove, Elton showed up in Florida and did what had to 
be done.  Stan will wind up with that boat, and he will do the right 
thing with it. 

The rest of us may yet wind up with what we want at what we are willing 
to pay.
