You may be aware of an article regarding fabrication with, and uses for,  
StarBoard in the Jan/Feb issue of Small Craft Advisor, pgs 40 to 48.  They  cite 
two references for further info:

The article alludes to an adhesive for the material, but says it's very  
expensive.
