[Rhodes22-list] Transom mount transducers

  Rhodies,  I  had a dream I heard this announcement at Lowes the other day..

>"Rhodes22 technical assistance needed in the Sailboat isle.."

  but seriously,
  I am about to order my  depth gauge and wanted to know what other 
folks are using for transducers if you have electronic depth gauges.. 
The Rope and with Rock attached  never really appealed to me.

Through Hull ( 2.25" hole required)
vs
Transom mount ( at most a 1/4 hole through the transom & mounting fasteners.
